The very best linen fibers under microscope

This article began from a real finding - the photo of flax and cotton fibers photographed under a microscope. We once again found out that linen is a flawless thing, especially for bedding.

100% linen is a perfect fabric for bedding - as for its hygroscopic and hypoallergenic properties. This is just amazing - cotton has a spiral type of fiber - which makes it keep too much liquid and dust, - this is provocation gems and bacterial growth in the fabric (that, of course, can’t accumulate allergies)!

Here are come scientific opinions on the topic of cotton and flax fibers:

100% COTTON: Mature flat and ribbon-like with convolutions, thick wall, and small lumen. Dead very thin and almost transparent Sharp polygonal shape with straight sides. Immature oval shape with a large lumen.

vs

100% LINEN: Smooth and Bamboo like with cross marking nodes, no lengthwise striations, narrow lumen Sharp polygonal shape with straight sides. Immature oval shape with a large lumen.

Also, as you know we use in our production linen fabrics which re 80% consist off French linen and 20% - Belarussian

This is the ideal pairing for long-lasting and very thin and chic fabric production. Also, the linen which is made in France (thank to soil consistency and sun) - is almost a silk by the microscopic properties. And Ithe fiber of French linen is smooth and very soft. It will last forever; Just look at a simple compartment.
